LaTonya is a wife, mother, and advocate who speaks out for domestic violence survivors, representing those affected by domestic violence.

DEVOTED WIFE, MOTHER, ADVOCATE
As a survivor of domestic violence, she passionately speaks in support of, and sometimes on behalf of, children, women, and men whose lives have been affected by this issue.
LaTonya, a domestic violence survivor who was shot by her ex-husband and lost both parents, uses her experience to advocate for better treatment of victims. She engages with law enforcement, attorneys, and judges on the issue.
LaTonya was awarded “Public Speaker Bureau of the Year” in 2017 and became a “Brand Ambassador” for InterAct, a North Carolina domestic violence prevention program, in 2019.
